Event Description

At Macedonia SDA Church, we draw inspiration from the teachings of the Bible as we strive to make a positive impact in the world around us. We are excited to invite you to our upcoming community outreach event on 12/09/2023, where we will put these teachings into action.

Inspired by Matthew 25:40, our mission is to demonstrate Christ's love through acts of kindness and compassion. By coming together as a united community, we can fulfill this mission and make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and families facing challenging circumstances.

Throughout the day, we will engage in various activities inspired by Galatians 6:9 and James 2:14-17. Our goal is to address both immediate needs and long-term empowerment. We will provide warm meals and clothing, offer medical check-ups and educational resources, and extend a helping hand to those in need.

We firmly believe in the principle of sowing and reaping, as mentioned in Luke 6:38. By generously giving our time, resources, and love, we trust that God will abundantly bless us in return. Together, we can embrace the power of kindness and make a lasting impact in our community.

In addition to our practical acts of kindness, we will also be offering spiritual guidance and support during the event. What you'll Find

Requirements

• Proof of residency: Participants will need to provide proof of residency within the community in order to access the services and resources offered at the event. This can be in the form of a valid identification card, utility bill, or any other official document that verifies their address.
• Face mask requirement: In accordance with local health guidelines and to ensure the safety of all attendees, wearing a face mask will be mandatory throughout the event. Participants should come prepared with their own masks, and those who do not have one will be provided with a disposable mask upon entry.
• Social distancing protocols: To maintain a safe environment, attendees are expected to follow social distancing guidelines by keeping at least six feet of distance from others who are not part of their household. Signage and markers will be placed throughout the event space to remind and assist participants in adhering to these protocols.
